Zoho Meeting: Evolution through 2018

This year ends on a high note for Zoho Meeting. Our greatest joy has been delivering great features that have improved the way our users conduct webinars and online meetings. Take a look at how Zoho Meeting has evolved in 2018.

Major developments in 2018

In 2017, we launched webinars in Zoho Meeting. In 2018, we were able to make many additions to our webinar features list. For online meetings, a major highlight this year was the tight integration with Zoho CRM. Additionally, we released iOS and Android apps for meetings on the go.

Webinar analytics and Q&A

Early this year, we released detailed, downloadable webinar reports. They provide information on who registered for your webinar, who attended, how long each attendee stayed in your webinar, the responses to the polls you conducted, and more. These reports have improved how users evaluate webinars and follow up with leads.

Co-organizers

Co-organizers for webinars emerged as a solution to help webinar hosts focus on delivering presentations without worrying about answering questions, launching polls, recording webinars, and handling unexpected glitches. Anyone can be added as a co-organizer regardless of whether or not they have a Zoho account. You can also add as many co-organizers as you want, assigning different tasks to each.

Registration form customization

Customizable webinar registration forms help you gain valuable insights into your webinar leads. It enables you to add fields and questions on your webinar registration form, understand leads, and follow up based on the data you collect.

Online meeting integration with Zoho CRM

This integration makes it easy for CRM users to communicate and collaborate with leads and contacts by holding online meetings without leaving their CRM account. Communication through online meetings is more useful than a phone call, as participants can interact through audio, video, and screen sharing. You can also view attendee reports, and share recordings after a meeting.

Moderator controls

Moderator controls help regulate the course of online meetings, and keeps them secure from unexpected intrusions. With these controls, moderators can lock meetings, mute individuals or all participants, switch presenters, and also remove participants.

Enhanced screen sharing, audio, and recording

We enhanced the quality of screen sharing and audio to give our users a worthwhile experience during webinars and meetings. Users can also select the camera of their choice for video transmission. View a list of all enhancements and bug-fixes.

Each of these features evolved out of our effort to learn about users’ needs and requirements. We are always on the move to provide you the smoothest experience while you broadcast webinars and conduct online meetings. Stay tuned for some exciting updates from us soon. In the meantime, we wish you the season’s best.

Happy Holidays, everyone!
